So Cal
Have a HS Precision HTR (338 LM) and want to add an ACI.

I have a 40 MOA NF base, Badger rings and a S&B 5-25. Looking at the ACI mounts, they either attach to the optic (ring mount) or the picatinny base. Considering that the optic and rail mounting surfaces are all canted, how do I mount the ACI? Do I just establish a angled baseline and measure shooting angle from that or is there another way to do it?

Looking at pictures of mounted ACIs, most people are placing them on the level rail on the top of gun, then canted base and optics are mounted to that. Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury.

Thanks!
