I steel wool the case mouths after chamfer and deburr. I use a 1/2" hex socket full of 00 steel wool in my cordless drill.

I would like to attach this socket, or similar, to the Case Prep Express and do it all in one round. Anyone know of a 8/32 thread attachment that will work? or do I need to make my own?

Yeah, a 8-32 screw with washer follotby a nut at the base of the socket.

I went the other way and fabbed an adapter to spin the case on the prep station .

I took a 1/4” magnetic drill extension, pulled the hex end out and epoxied a aluminum 8/32 insert in place of the hex with a 8/32” set screw epoxied into the insert. This extensions stays in the prep center. On the other end of the insert I use the Lee lock stud case holders to hold the case.

The lee studs just pull off and drops onto the insert I built without stopping the prep center and released the case with a 1/4 turn.

I use either steel wool or a chunk of the lead remover cloth to clean necks.
