Greetings to all,
I am planning on doing a thin blue line Glock for 3 gun competitions. I have been Cerakoting for a while, so I guess I kinda have the basics down. my only question is how to make the line in the Glock over the rear cocking serations. Am I going to have to run my high temp tape over it and then back fill the serrations with.... something(???) in order to make the line clean or will the tape itself keep the line clean even though it isn't actually "sealing" to the bottom of the serrations? I am thinking that the Cerakote will creep in behind the line in the serations creating a crap finish in the cocking serations.
Any advise would be appreciated. I'm a one color kind of guy currently and this will be my first endevour into multi colors. The image is not mine, I stole it from the Cerakote website as a representation. I just plan on doing graphite black slide with an NRA blue line in the same position as the blue line in the photo.
