How to CLEAN ?Felt padded mil/issue weapons case

Found this at a yard sale, OLD but in decent condition but looks like a cat or many dogs slept on it. How do you clean felt & canvas case? Case/bag is NOT parachute weapons case. This thing folds out flat. Previous owner cut part of canvas off for something ? Straps are missing.
Any ideas ? Thanks

My wet/dry vacuum pulls an amazing amount of suction. You can pour red wine on a white carpet, & after 30 seconds with the vac, you can't even tell there was a spill. And it's gentle in that it doesn't have beater bars like a regular carpet vacucm. Plus you can regulate how much suction is being applied - I'm thinking semi-delicate things here. Might be worth a try.

Other than that, how about a good stiff brushing for the canvas, perhaps with a little laundry soap or Simple Green. Then rinse, & vacuum out the moisture.

Also, masking tape is good for pulling off pet hair, gently. And if the case smells, cedar shavings like you'd find at a pet store, do a decent job of cleaning up odors.
