F T/R Competition How to find matches SW FL

Looking for rifle matches in the southwest Florida area. Specifically around the Sarasota area. Would like to try out f class 600/1000 and check out a prs match but I havent Found a site to search for events. Unless they just aren’t popular around me

Manatee has a match every other match, then there is one in Immokalee on the other months

Also there are matches in Volusia COunty aatt he VC gun and hunt club

Thanks Jack actually just met someone at the manatee range a couple weeks ago that told me about that group. Forget the guys name but he had a big minny mouse sticker on his scope so I'm sure someone knows him on here. Hope to see you at some matches soon!

If you're referring to Mighty Mouse, that was me.

We shoot F-Class (300 only) at Manatee-1st Sundays of the month. As in This Sunday
We also shoot PRS. " Manatee Precision" has a match tomorrow morning.

To Shoot 600y F-Class, you'll need to head East to Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. It's a very nice well run range with E-Targets. The other alternative is to go to Camp Blanding for 1000y F-Class matches.

For PRS you can also hit Hollywood Tactical or Altair/Training Grounds/Gator whatever the new name is. It's in Immokolee. (BFE)

TACC, where in Florida are you? And what discipline do you plan to shoot? F-Class, PRS, 3 gun, etc?

I have limited 3 gun experience, and am looking to start PRS. I have no problem trying f class,( just started researching this) just learning dope changes on long distance with my 6.5 CM bolt action.

Live in broward county, but have no problem traveling to get some trigger time and experience.

Bpotactical.com and alamo range run open training days. Range fees of course. Next one is 2/17/19 through bpotactical.com

There is a good crew down here.

Homestead Training center has 500 yards.

If you have not had a formal class, I suggest taking one. It shortens the learning curve and honestly saves you money in the long run.

Supplemental to that is the online training here. Frank is good people and a professional instructor.
