Whats the most effective way to get modeling clay out of all the nooks and crannies after doing a bedding job? Once its in there, its pretty messy.

Warm water and Qtips works well , but it's also messy and time consuming.

It's like pickin boogers. Easier when it dries out a little that when wet and soft.

I have used dental picks with good success,or paper clips...but as was said,easier when dried a bit.

A blow torch and a pair of pliers.
Oh, wait, that's for something else.
Like they said above, let out dry a bit. The sunshine helps this process

Hot water. Dawn soap. Nylon bristle brush. Compressed air.

Remove the clay when it is cold. It won't stick to the metal and leaves worry little residue. Clean up action with hot water and dish soap.

I like plumbers putty.
Easy clean up and whatever that stuff is it never seems to go bad.......
