    Folks,

I just got around to ordering a Larue OBR (7.62).

Curiously, how well do Hornady 168Gr A-MAX bullets work with that rifle?

I ordered one with a 20 inch barrel...

Know I know why no one responded... I originally spelled Larue wrong in the subject. Good grief...

Oh, and if you are using them... and are using Varget / RL-15 / TAC... I'd be greatful if you can indicate your good loads with brass too.

No easy answer. You will just have to try them. Yours might like them, it might not. Every rifle is different.

Of course... be getting someone elses load is a great place to start.

For instance, ChadTRG gave me his load for his TRG-42... and it works flawlessly. So, while that's not typical... it's helpful.

I've seen the 168 Amax run through a wide variety of rifles using 44 to 45 grains of varget in fed, blackhills, winchester, and Hornady brass being set off by CCI br2, WLR, and fed match primers and does sub moa.

To 600 its pretty good, out past that depends on altitude, wind, and spotter skill.
