Love my JP LRP-07. I went with 6.5CM (with these options) because I had a lot of 6.5CM ammo at the time, but I might need another one in .308.

Also, code: 68SS0717 will save you 5% on JP rifles at JPrifles.com

Here is what I ordered:

@Malcolm31

Thank you for sharing! Few ?s if you will...

1. why top charge instead of side charge

2. why extra long rifle gas system

3. why jam nut and Recoil eliminator over their large brake

4. why that handguard

5. why low mass BC?

6. why titanium firing pin

7. why those trigger and hammer springs

thank you

You want the new LRI Upper for the increased rigidity.

Side charge without any hesitation, it eliminates gas blow back and offers smoother operation.

The traditional blended style of muzzle brake is a pain in the ass to take off so go with the jam nut for easy removal and cleaning.

Rapid configuration handguard is what most people opt for due to the ease of picatinny rail placement.

If you are planning to run this as a bench rifle not suppressed the low mass BCG is going to offer the smoothest operation, if running suppressed you want the full Mass BCG for enhanced reliability.

The titanium firing pin comes standard with the HP Bolt so I wouldn't stress on that.

I've run both of those trigger kits I have never had any light primer strikes with either, I'm not a huge fan of the refined JP Milspec style triggers I prefer Triggertech, they are about release a new single stage AR10 Diamond as well if you're not a fan of two stage triggers.

I haven't heard about SS AR10 Diamond. Do you by chance have any info or links?
