I just got a short action howa barreled action and was looking for what stock I wanted to put it in. I came across a company that sells pistol chassis for the mini action. So I looked into it and since the barreled action was never put in a stock it's transferred as "other" on the paper work making it legal to build it into a pistol. So my two questions are can I put a pistol brace on a standard rifle chassis. And if so what would be the best brace to put on it. I'm planning on putting a 12 in 338 federal barrel on it if I can find a brace that will make it halfway comfortable to shoot
