Howa rebarrel from 223 to 300 blckout

Howa 1500 short action in 223 rem. looking to rebarrel to 300 blckout. Can you use the same bolt since head size is the same? I'm worried about getting the headspace correct since this is a short action and Howa only makes 300 blckout in a mini action. Does anyone see any issues?

You can use the same bolt. Headspace will be controlled by the depth of the chamber and the shoulder of the barrel in relation to the bolt face. Everything should work fine if the guy doing the rebarrel can manage a few simple measurements.
