Not a new shooter but looking to reorient a bit towards long-distance, precision. I’ve been in the fire and public service for coming up on 30 years and am looking to settle into a new hobby before retirement while the moolah is a little freer.

I’m thinking traditional looking bolt action rifle in 300 Win Mag, good optic, and other accoutrements as well as hand loading. Looking to gather info and suggestions while learning.
