Bryan/College Station area here, an hour northwest of Houston. Retired Army, deputy sheriff and intel guy nowadays but I've done everything from recon to tactical medicine and SWAT over the years. I've always been interested in long(er) range shooting, but all my experience has been under 500ish yards. I'm looking to put together a low budget setup for occasional hunting and semi precision patrol use, and look forward to talking with y'all and gleaning whatever nuggets of wisdom I can pick up.
