i have not done it yet but i was considering it. the only issue i can see is where the bolt release is on the hsp action. if i do get around to putting my htr in an aics, i think i will go to a side bolt release. the aics could <span style="font-style: italic">probably</span> be inlet a little for the hsp bolt release though.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking too. Who does the side bolt release? Just do away wit the hsp release.

ive thought about it too, but when i tried to sell the stock first, i outfound out that the stocks for the 2000 actions are not compatible with other 700 actions because of the Winchester type safety. the stock does not have a cut out on the right side for the 700 side safeties.

That is pretty easy to fix, but may cost you a little on resale value since it's an added cost for the buyer.
