I've had numerous examples of PSS, LTR, and VS stocks but have never used a sporter stock from HS Precision and wondered just how narrow the forearm was on them. I would be putting it on a Remington long action. Is the forearm as narrow (or narrower) than the factory wood stocks?

It has been a while but I had one on a 7mag.
Real close to the size of factory wood.

I have a SA BDL. Side to side it measures 1.61 near the tip and 1.84 at the recoil lug. I pearonal like the shape, it is slightly rounder then a factory BDL stock. The barrel channel had to opened to accept a #3 Broughton.
