I have a Remington 700 PSS with HS Precision stock & BDL floorplate. I want to install a Badger M5 DBM on this stock.

I searched & could not find anything so here are my questions.

1)Is this possible to install on the HS stock?

2)If so, is it reliable?

3)How is the fit(flush,recessed, etc)?

Any pics would be appreciated if available.

Re: HS Precision Stock & Badger M5

It is possible on an HS stock and yes it is reliable. It is NOT a drop in fit it must be milled to the proper depth, etc. Before you humps chime in and say my monopod is backwards...I am aware and was experimenting with it in that position.

Great. I have that same stock just in a fixed LOP. Are you guys happy with this setup? How is the fit? Flush, recessed, raised up?

Re: HS Precision Stock & Badger M5

I used the HS Precision DBM on my 700P, until I upgraded it into a McRees MODSS. The reason I didn't go Badger was that it was not drop-in. The HS DBM just wasn't for me. My 2 cents.

Re: HS Precision Stock & Badger M5

You can get the fit almost perfect with the HS PSS stock (BTDT)...the thing to watch out for is an oversized recoil lug... the aluminum chassis has to be milled to almost nothing to accomodate the width of an oversized lug.
