Gunsmithing HS Precision Stock, barrel clearance

Hi,

I'm looking at pulling my M40X 22LR Heavy Barrel from my AICS and putting it into an HS Pro (M24 SA variant) stock. What is the maximum clearance on the barrel, and does anyone have any insights if the pillars will match the action?

I just tried putting my 40XB .22LR Heavy Barrel in a HS PST 008 that I have set up on a 40XB .308 repeater, with a DBM set up for Alpha magazines and it fits fine. There is between 1/16 and 1/8 inch clearance around the barrel.

Thanks-- with such a small level of clearance, that doesn't bode well for my action. I have a heavy custom barrel from Clay Spencer on my 22LR--significantly wider than the original heavy barrel.
