Quick question, do they make one with a butthook stock? I've been looking (google, etc) and haven't come across one. If anyone knows if they do, could you throw an item number or model number my way so I can look it up. Thanks

Chris

Re: HS Precision Stocks

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. That looks like what I have on my 700 now, when I bought the rifle I think he mistakenly told me it was an HS...think I need to post up a pic and let everyone weigh in on it.

Re: HS Precision Stocks

Yup, Your stock looks exactly like this one on the Remington website.

<span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">Remington tactical rifles offer the perfect solution for long-range precision shooters. A long-time favorite of both the military and tactical police units, the Model 700 offers the legendary accuracy and unfailing performance you’ve come to expect. Our Model 700 XCR Long Range Tactical Rifle, features a 40-X externally adjustable trigger and 416 stainless steel barreled action with Black TriNyte® PVD coating, providing a diamond-hard layer of defense against the elements.

Its new tactical Bell & Carlson stock comes in OD green with black webbing and features a full-length aluminum bedding block, tactical beaver-tail fore-end and a recessed thumb-hook feature for optimum “off the bench” shooting performance. The barrel features wide tactical-style barrel fluting for rapid cooling.
Key Features:

Looks like yours is a B&C as well.

Re: HS Precision Stocks

Thanks for all of the info gents. Mine has a 1 in 11" twist Mike Rock barrel, threaded 5/8-24 for suppressor. Been bedded with Marine tex. Blueprinted action and trigger is set on about 2 3/4lbs right now. Cerakoted OD green and the rail is a 15 MOA, made by the smith I purchased the rifle from. It's only had about 10 rounds down the tube as I've had a bunch of bills come up lately and I'm trying to save and decide on what kind of glass I am going to put on it.
