I received a discount certificate from Huber Concepts for one of their triggers. I am very thankful they support shooting clubs and small shooting matches with discounts like I received.

Browsing their website I see single and two stage triggers. I do not know much about their triggers and I do not know anyone that has one to let me feel. Since they are not end user adjustable I need to order the right one from the start.

This will be going on a rifle I use exclusively for PRS shooting. I currently use a Jewell single stage set at 1.25 lbs and I like it a lot. I liked the feel of two stage triggers on some guns I have used, but I do not know what pull weight on a two stage would be a good fit for me. Should I just order a single stage Huber of 1.25 lbs or should I get a two stage and at what pull weights on the 2 stages?

Huber Concepts is awesome! Love their support of competition rifle matches!
I now have 3, all are 2 stage with total weight 1.5 lb and absolutely love them. The 1.5 lb is the lowest they will do for overall weight with the 2 stage. It is so crisp it feels lighter. I highly recommend this setup if you like 2 stage triggers.

I was worried that since 1.5 is the lowest two stage they offer that it might be too light for me. Do you have an idea of relatively how light those triggers feel compared to like a 1 lb single stage?

I used to shoot a single stage trigger set right around 1.25 lb. The 2 stage at 1.5 lb is not (to me) too light. The first stage kind of 'preps' you for the shot, so by the time you get there you are ready to shoot, and breaking the shot is a very definite additional measure.
Huber is really nice to deal with (you will likely be talking with Diz). If you happen to get something you didn't like they will take care of you to get the trigger like you want it!

Huber is a stand up operation and the triggers are great. I never thought I'd love one but after winning one I became a believer. I now shoot one on all my match guns at 2# total, 1# each stage. Perfect.
