    Basically out of lack of knowledge, i had a custom rifle built in 308 with a 308 carbon proof barrel.

    My optic is a Leupold LRT 8.5-25x50

    Shooting nexus match grade ammo.

    Would anyone be willing to share data or briefly educate me on proper data, etc?
     
    There isn’t anything wrong with the rifle you had built. .308 is a fantastic cartridge and is, arguably, better to learn on than many others. As far as data is concerned, you really need to shoot the rifle and figure it out.

    Sounds like a sweet rifle. If you are asking for ballistic data I suggest you download an app on your phone and start learning what every single input means. You need to know velocity and ballistic coefficient of your round as a starting point. Then all your calculator inputs need to be correct.

    Try this from a 100 yard zero:
    0.5 mils at 200 yards
    1.2 mils at 300 yards
    2.2 mils at 400 yards
    3.2 mils at 500 yards
    4.2 mils at 600 yards

    That is a basic 308 trajectory to 600 yards for pretty much every standard load. It won't vary by much. Beyond that, it starts to diverge pretty quickly.
