Hunting & Fishing Hunt Clubs

What are the general opinions of hunt clubs? I like to primarily bow hunt, and was given info about a club here where I’m at. All sounded good until I was told the price ($2K).

Are they worth the price?

I've killed white tail in 8 different states with a bow all on public land. Grew up bow hunting public in Mississippi have over 50 kills there. Never saw the need to join a club, as long as there is plenty of public land around. Where are you?

It depends on the members, how good the hunting is, the rules they have, does that all comply with you! Personally I'd look for land I could lease myself or go the public route.
