Currently running a Harris, but in the market for a solid bipod mainly for hunting. Lightweight is a preference since I hike a lot while hunting. I was thinking of just running a tripod, but I would guess I bring my tripod/Spotter on about 50% of my hunts.
I keep eyeing the Spartan bipods like the Javelin lite or Javelin pro hunt models. Not a huge fan of a mounting a dedicated adapter to my guns just for the bipod, but pros and cons I guess.
Anyone care to weigh in on best options? I’m also fine running the Harris. It works. Just debating on better (lighter) options.
