I am "off the scale"?

Not sure how long this has been there, but underneath Following: 0 and above my avatar pic there is a little grey box. For some people its been white, and I've seen green as well. When I mouse over it it says 'TheGerman is off the scale'.

What is this?? And what scale? The scale of awesome?

I am off the scale too! Some other member is "on a distinguished road". Some members the little box displays their name. I was curious as to what it was also.
