Rifle Scopes I didn't want to hijack the PST thread....

I have ordered 2 PST's. Both 6-24.
The first will go on a 300WM 26inch barrel 3145fps(180g accubond)
The second will go on a 308 26 inch barrel 2800fps(168g A-Max)

I didnt notice that there was only 65MOA of elevation. Will I have enough to get to 1000 yards?

You should probably be around the 32-36 MOA range for 1000 on that 308

I should be good then...I need to spend some time and actually learn some of this stuff instead of always counting on my i phone app to tell me what the dope is....

You may be okay...you may not. 65MOA gives you approximately 32.5MOA up and down from mechanical zero. It all depends on how much elevation and windage you have to give to get your rifle zeroed. If you have a 20MOA base...you'll be GTG regardless.

You should be fine with the 300WM getting to 1k regardless of whether you have a canted or 0MOA base.

I failed to mention I do have a 20 MOA base on both of them.
