I have a Remington 700 varmint SA 700 in 223 that I would like to put in a Cadex chassis or maybe an Accuracy Int. what all is involved to do this. Is it something a Gunsmith has to do or is it easy as unscrewing the action from one and installing in the other? Thanks guys.

It is very simple and you can do yourself I would suggest having a torque wrench though as equal torque on action screws is much better. You can have gunsmith skin bed etc on some but if it were me I would do myself and try it out first. Just did this with tikka and Xlr stock and easily under 1/2 Moa still.

unscrew the 2 bolts on the bottom of your stock.......remove action from stock......place action in chassis.......replace 2 bolts you removed.........
