I have searched......no luck on barrel builder

I have a Sako M995 that has a slightly heavy sporter barrel of 24.375 inches. I want to get a heavy target barrel in the 26 in range plus a brake.
Who are some of the preferred barrel makers used by the good folks here?

If you cant find recommendations for barrel makers you havent looked very hard. Bartlein, Hawk Hill, Shilen, Lilja, Criterion, Mullerworks, Pacnor, Rock Creek, Proof, Benchmark, Brux, MPA (spencer), Krieger and the list goes on. Take your pick.

Call any of the barrel makers that Spife has listed and ask them if they have (or will make) your particular contour. I suspect most will. The barrel starts out life as a single piece of continuous round bar stock. Contouring it to something specific isn't a big deal.
