Ok, some of you know my new remmy plastic needs a new stock. I want sub moa, nothing more right now until I shoot the barrel out.
HSP, BC (which one) I like the A2 for the price, but the A3 hook looks like it would help when no rear bag is used??? Opinions?
Is the HS $125 better? The only thing that has kept me from ordering the A2 is that forearm, it looks HUGE!, but will be shot off bi-pod always. I can get a McM A5 inletted for BDL NOW! for $540, but, would you wait until you send it in for my smith to BP the action and Chamber to 6BR? I wanna get some groups now, and I plan on doing a switch barrel, .243/ 6BR. Someone help me get some lead down range, I hate decisions, unless I was rich

The B&C A3 is a good stock, I'm sure the A2 is as well, if you will always be shooting off a bipod or bag, it comes down to grip preference, the A2 is more vertical than the A3 which is slightly more vertical than factory, both are fuller in the wrist than factory but not to the extent of the HS. If you will be shooting offhand the A3 will be more comfortable as the forearm is considerably more round.
Stocks have a simple but critical job to do, mount the action. Good ones do this in a repeatable manner and float the barrel regardless of conditions. A good sized chunk of aluminum is a good foundation for doing this. I have a two B&Cs one new medalist, one very old, I see no reason to upgrade them.

No, if you knew, you wouldn't have asked the question. Please use the search function; I emplore you. Even a google search of "Remington 700 stock" provides all the information you need. Pick something in your budget, buy it and shoot it. We cannot choose your gear nor do we wish to spoonfeed information to every new member that registers. We're all more than willing to help but it's your responsibility to take some initiative and do some learning before you blindly post about a topic that you even admit has been beaten to death. If you find the search function here too cumbersome, SH even has a Google search engine in the familiar Google format with ONLY SH results.

I apologize if this came off as crass but most of us don't have the time to learn every new guy from the ground up. Decide what you're looking for from your stock, what type of shooting you do, your budget, your priorities, etc and if by that point you cannot decide, give us your parameters and we are more than willing to point you in the right direction but just 10 minutes of searching/reading will answer 95% of your questions.

Link to SH search. Put it in your bookmarks and exhaust it, learn THEN ask questions.

Thank you everyone for your input. I know I get asked each day about AR15's, as I carry one daily, and shoot Butner and Perry quite often, but I will never tell someone to "Google it" even if I don't care. That's what I liked about this site, unlike AR15.com you don't get beat up for asking. I have worked with the AR15 platform, toured about every plant, built my own uppers for years, shot Magpul Dynamics carbine, Precision Rifle, and Shotgun classes, as well as EAG Tactical, and I know which triggers will last, and which won't. I have also shot BR years ago, and even broke a cpl records when I was younger, that's been broken like glass since then. So I have been LR shooting all my life, just not when B&C was a good stock, it was McM only back in the day. LR isn't Rocket Science I know, we just shot 1000yds with an SKS at night at an old reflective STOP sign with a spotlight on it, lol. I know, but after the 1st cpl hits, it was easy.
Before I go on and on, Thank you very much for your input on the B&C stocks, and any info I learn I promise I will pay back, but when someone asks me "which barrel Noveske or Wilson Combat?" I will never say "Google it" God Bless You Guys. Sorry Bear Jew, but your name tells me we wouldn't be best of buds anyhow.

Here for a second I thought you kinda had a point, and perhaps he'd over reacted, now I regret having offered any advice.

lol guy must be a Nazi sympathizer cuz that's the only group my name offends, not that I lose sleep over them anyways.

I wasn't trying to come off brash but people want answers without taking their own initiative. I was instructed by moderators to respectfully direct these questions to the search function. I didn't attack the OP and I wasn't disrespectful, heck I even posted a link that will yield hundreds of responses in a matter of seconds.

Thanks, Sold a cpl Eotechs and got a B&C A2 and a McM sniper filled A5 new for my 40x Bartlein barreled action. Been a cpl years in the making, but now I'll have a BR gun while I play with the .243.

I think you'll be very happy with both choices.
