Lots of them out there, but any particular reason you are against aluminum.

I have a pair of 1" steel rings - Leupold tactical MK IV steel rings.
Very good condition. Let me know if you are interested and I can give you a good price. I will check on the height but I think they are medium or high. I changed scopes and don't need them anymore.

badgers 30's with badger 1 inch inserts is what I've used, then can have rings to "upgrade" to withought seperate rings, just my advice

Steel is nothing more than a personal choice.
There are quite a few decent ring makes around. I know I can have a quick look on these forums right now and find many threads showing them.
Wasn't there an active broken TPS ring thread at the moment?

I have a set of TPS high one inch rings in excellent shape, but they are aluminum. If you change your mind about aluminum vs steel I could help you out. But I understand. I wanted steel on one of my rifles just for the extra weight. All sorts of reasons to want either metal that are valid.

I got the Leupold PRWs and the get the job done. Dont got the heavy duty "look" but they are solid and affordable.
