Gunsmithing I need a new safety dot.

Got my barrel back from Savage and I think they forgot to remove the dot when they refinished my rifle.. Any suggestions on what i can use to fix this? The big hole you can see, but the hole goes all the way through into the receiver but smaller diameter. I was thinking of Fimo, but I would have to glue that in.
Any ideas on what I can do? I would like to change the color so it doesn't need to be red.

Is there a special type of glue I can use if I wanted to glue something in place in the hole?

Do you have a Hobby Lobby or other craft store near you? The hole is probably tapered and the factory probably drove a piece of plastic rod into the hole. This link may give you some ideas.
