I recently purchased a 700 AAC-SD. It came with a supressor mount, which I will not be using. I need a thread protector and have had ZERO luck finding one. I contacted Remington hoping they would help, but was told to try Brownells. Thanks Remington! Does anyone know where I can get one?? I can't find anything in stock ANYWHERE!

The 700 AAC-SD has 5/8-24 threads. MidwayUSA has a bunch of 5/8-24 thread protectors in stock starting at $12.99. Make sure you get one for the right barrel diameter.
