I decided to try to flare a polymer grip and create an integral magwell. I wanted it to be slimmer, smoother and smaller than adding a add on well.
So what I did was make a magazine with the flare added, I then clamped it in a vise, added pressure and heat, it worked out pretty well I think. Needs some final touches but I think it worked out.

On the plus side, if you did it wrong, the gun will tell you by shooting you in the dick.

On a serious note, thats actually a good effort. well done. How is the rattle / mag fitment ? How much shorter is it now ? Can you over insert or does the stopper at the top still work perfectly ?

Feels the same as stock, probably a 1/16", appears to function normally

Kinda sucks that there's really no good way you can practice this outside of going all-out on your own pistol the first time... Solid effort, methinks!

Luckily used stock ones are fairly cheap now. I have done a few different ones. This other one I removed the rail, trimmed the trigger guard, enhanced the grooving and added a screw to look like a grip panel. Looks old school.

So I cleaned it up some this morning, did an extreme reduction on the beavertail and rounded the trigger guard. I am trying to decide what to do with the rail, leave it, round it off or something else.
I was thinking about integrating a light but I am not a light guy
I am amazed how good this gun feels because of the location of the flare on the front of the grip. I think O might of accidentally created the perfect carry gun
