A 21-year-old man was shot six times in the groin area Monday morning outside the Leighton Criminal Court Building on Chicago's Southwest Side, police said.

Trigger control. Hitting low would typically be assoc with anticipating recoil, but this assumes the gun is held in the normal upright way. I'd guess there's at least even odds it was held sideways, so we'd need to know if the shooter was right or left handed to make any suggestions to correct the problem.
