Precision rifle shooting is not easy if you have generally been a plinker or bench shooter your entire life. After running matches for over two years now, we have seen a lot of people who seem to be intimidated and/or unprepared for precision rifle shooting in field conditions. We want to help you be successful and have more fun.
This month a clinic and practice will be conducted in place of the monthly PPTR match. This will provide the opportunity for shooters wanting to get some instruction and help with basic and advanced skills needed in practical precision rifle matches like those we and others host across the country. The clinic will begin a 9 a.m. on 7 April in the Parma R&G clubhouse. Several topics will be covered including those listed below. There will be lots of time for questions and answers. No question is too simple. No prior experience with our matches is needed.
The cost will be $5 per person. After the classroom stage, we will move to the range to do some basic drills and instruction. A chronograph will be available. Bring your gear (centerfire rifle and scope, lots o’ ammo, bipod, sling, pack) and we will help you get on the road to preparedness.

Several targets will put up for gathering DOPE for the Spring off-site LRTR match to be held 20 April.
