An easy way to know what each adjustment/click value is, is to view it as a fraction. The numerator will be the range and the denominator will always be 4 if you're using a 1/4 MOA adjustment. Such as:

Then you break down the fraction. If you're using a 1/4 MOA scope, each click at 1000yds will move impact 2.5" Hope this helps simplify if for you. </div></div>
