When I shot Silhouette, virtually no one used small pistol primers in a revolver or single shot 357mag or Max.

Sorry.... but I have seen too many people offering to trade small rifle primers for small pistol primers in the PX so i posted this.....

What I got out of that was - small primers are interchangeable, the real difference is the hardness of the anvil, which could be an issue with small pistol primers in a rifle; but generally (factory guns) none of these primers are an issue in handguns.

Had a few pistols that wouldn't touch cci 400s off, BUT lots that do. Just gotta try it and see!
