Walmart said Thursday in a quarterly earnings report that it would support a conversation around an assault weapons ban, even though the company no longer sells that category of firearm.

Why can't public facing retail companies stick to doing what they do best and sell stuff to the general public?
Why must company after company get sucked into political nonsense and 'make a statement'?
