Hunting & Fishing I'm liking this new .308 hunting round!

Looking to make my 5R a dual purpose hunting rifle.
Grabbed a box of Federal Premium with 165gr Barnes Triple Shock. First 3 rounds were high (sighted in for 168gr SMK). Adjusted down and right. (Wish I could split the windage value.) Next 3 rounds are good to go.
I think it would be hard to improve with handloads.

Thats great shooting! I had great accuracy too with barnes triple shock handloads in my .308.

That shoots good for a factory load. I had some of the Barnes Triple Shock for a .280 that shot really well too.

Thats like what my 5R did with 150gr Fed. Power Shoks... I was kinda dumbfounded! lol
