I've been frequenting Sniper's Hide for years. I actually went to register and learned I was already registered. I figured I might as well at least throw up an intro. I'm neither a sniper nor a particularly good shot - mostly just hear to learn and gather information about something I enjoy. I can ball park my registration to 2013 (even if I've been around longer) because I used my call-sign for my forum handle. 14 years of active federal service down, still plugging along as a Sapper.
Shooting resume...what there is of it. I don't do a good job making time for the range these days - I did shoot my way to C-class in single stack (maybe production as well), but I'm not sure if I renewed my USPSA membership in time to save that "illustrious" achievement. The best round of Skeet I've ever shot is a 24, I think I've managed a 23 in Trap. No idea for 5-stand and Sporting Clays (about an 80-85% shooter on a good day). I've never shot 3-gun or any rifle specific discipline - I did get the merit badge as a Boy Scout ;-).
The furthest I've ever hit a target (with a rifle) is 700 meters. It was maybe the most fun I've had with a rifle. Finding a range longer than 200 yards is a challenge - but, something I'd like to do more of if I can straighten out my priorities a bit (and maybe get my sons interested).
