This is a hypothetical question at this point in time, but I will most likely need to know the answer within the next year or so. I plan to move out of state and continue my FFL/SOT there. What happens if I have customer pending Form 4's out? Will they allow me to transfer to another local dealer? Will they quickly process those forms (hahahahaha)?

Thanks

Re: Im stumped, SOT moving question

Is your FFl Valid after you move? It is tied to your physical address is it not? I am curious about this as well. As a prospective FFL holder with a military spouse... I wonder what issues might come up with moving every 3-4 years.

Well 5 hours is definitely better than 22 for sure! Plus I wouldn't need to get a hotel room when I go to Denver

Yeah, your FFL is still valid you just have to file a change of address form and they have to come inspect the new premises like 30 days in advance or something along those lines.

I just cant seem to find any info on what happens with Form 4's that are out. That would really suck if they had to start over with a new dealer.

And yeah Trevor, 5 hours is definitely doable easily. Im sure theres also plenty more places for me to finally stretch the legs on my 338 out there.
