Impact NBK and cerakote

Anyone know if the impact NBK can be cerakoted? Looks like it comes with black carbon nitride finish. Can cerkote be applied on top of this coating? Im fine with koting the outside of action only.

There’s no issue Cerakoting on top of a salt bath nitride finish.

its only an appearance thing. I like the carpet to match the drapes...lol

If something comes as raw stainless or aluminum I'll cerakote. But if it comes in DLC, Nitride or anodized I just spray paint over it.
