I'm a noob at the "custom" actions and triggers. My current plan is an Impact .223 with 18" VCC profile, debating the brake option and the MDT ESS with folder. I see Straight Jacket Armory has the barreled actions, any better choices?

On an Impact 737, does it come with mounting hardware for the triggers?

What's involved with mounting a trigger?

Will this work with the Impact as it's a "700" trigger?

I do like the 2 stage as I have some on AR's and the AT, other options?

As I understand, the Impact has a receiver mounted bolt release and this model in the link while having one would obviously not function or hinder the rcvr bolt release?

I appreciate it.

Impact utilizes a trigger hanger. Call Tate and tell him which trigger you plan to use and he can likely recommend the appropriate size hanger. I run a TT Diamond in my Impact 6.5CM and it is an excellent combo. Most accurate rifle I have ever shot.

If you want a 2 stage trigger, there's much better ones than the Timney. I had one and sold it. The Timney didn't feel like a good 2 stage trigger and it had some creep that was difficult to adjust out. The first stage was so light it almost wasn't there and the Timney first stage isn't adjustable, the only adjustment it total pull weight and it only adjusts the pull weight on the 2nd stage break. Timney is a good company, I just don't like their 2 stage trigger for the Rem 700 bolt gun.

I now have one Huber and 2 Bix N Andy Tacsport triggers and they are all excellent. The Huber is not user adjustable, when you order it you specify the 1st and 2nd stage pull weight that you want. The Tacsport is fully user adjustable for 1st and 2nd stage pull weights.

If you like 2 stage triggers, then I would highly recommend the Bix n Andy Tacsport 2 stage, Bullet Central carries them.

It's really easy to install a trigger. I don't own an Impact action, but I believe the trigger pins on those are threaded, so you merely place the trigger in it's spot, ensuring all the holes line up, and thread in the trigger pins.

Also the trigger pins are not threaded, at least not on mine. You just punch them in. The hanger is threaded and will screw into the bottom of the action. There is a right and wrong way to install the trigger onto the hanger however. Tate with Impact should be able to get you squared away with any questions though if you just email them from Impacts website or call them.

My bad, I thought they were threaded. That would've been a really nice touch, regular trigger pins are a stupid design IMO.

OP you will need a small punch and a hammer to install the trigger.

TT Diamond in an Impact action 6.5cm for me. Took less than 3 minutes for installation with the 0 degree hanger. It's so simple, I'd be worried if you couldn't figure it out. Works perfect, have had absolutely zero issues running in my MPA chassis.

Looks like the trigger tech has a flat trigger, none on the BA. Sounds easy enough, I think I saw a thread to where the Impact was supposed to have the screws or hanger and it did not come with it?

You can get a flat trigger for the BnA, as well as other options:
