Rifle Scopes In praise of illuminated reticles

I have several red dot 1X "scopes" but recently I purchased my 1st illuminated mil reticle in a Bushnell LRTA 4.5 - 18 x44 scope (mil/mil/, FFP, G3 reticle) and I finally realize how useful illuminated reticles can be.

This is my hunting scope for my 6.5 PRC Browning X-Bolt Pro rifle and it sits in matching Talley burnt bronze rings W/ bubble level in the top of the rear ring.

Bushnell's illumination is sharp and has 11 illumination settings. Great for dark backgrounds and when the power is down low where non-illuminated FFP reticles tend to fade away. Just wish my H59 competition scope's reticle was illuminated. Maybe I'll replace ti with Bushnell's XRS II scope with illumination.
