I have a 300 win mag that I have been reloading for and working on for quit some time. I'm running into issues with inconsistent shot placement. I can never get any loads to fire an actual tight group at 100 yds. I've messed with powders bullets and even how I size the brass. Find it hard to believe I'm doing wrong when my other projects turn out to be respectable grouping guns with my hand loads. Any help would be great. It's also been fitted with a aluminum bedded stock and leupold scope. I have eliminated those as issues and purely think it is action or something I don't know about the 300.

1) Have a friend shoot your rifle to see if there's different results?
2) Try some factory match ammo, perhaps your rifle doesn't like your loads for whatever reason?
3) Double check the torque on your action screws, scope base, and scope rings?

my $0.02

do you have gauges to check seating depth of your bullets. my 300 throat was on the long side. do you have a brake or a aftermarket trigger?

Trouble shoot 101

Tear that fucker down and put it back together before you start replacing shit.

1) Check the wear marks on the bedding block and action
2)check your scope base screws and loc-tit them
3)torque your action screws to at least 55 in lbs up to 65 (what I torque too)

Then

1)buy factory ammo
2)have a good shooter shoot it
3)mount a different scope somewhere in there too

Then

1)bitch about how its a piece of shit
2)buy a savage lol let the comments begin
