Re: info on patriot ordnance factory 308

Mine has been great, shoots sub MOA groups at 100 yards. One thing to note is that you can get a very nice DPMS SASS setup for almost $1k less and I think they shoot probably close to as good.

If I could get a full DPMS SASS in CA I probably would have went that route instead but the POF was a nice option as well.... If you go with the POF 308 you won't regret it.

I have a 20" POF P-308 setup for long-range work. It has been easily sub-MOA with my handloads and BH 168gr and 175gr match loads out to 600yds, and it is 100% reliable. The cost of the base rifle with one mag, a VLTOR E-MOD collapsible stock, etc. was approx. $2600 though, which is a considerable initial investment compared to something like an AR-10T or a upper end DPMS, but you get what you pay for. The gas piston setup on the POF is excellent.

I would absolutely do it again without hesitation!!!

Had a few initial snafus with my 20" POF but Chris took care of business and it rocks now. There has been some negative feedback here but I got excellent customer service and a POF that performs like it should.
