This past year Ive been intrested in buying a suppressor for my DPMS SASS, does it go the same way as buying a gun as in no felonies and all that good stuff or is there more than that. I know about the $200 dollar tax stamp but would like to know more

You have to have a clean record like a gun and the ATF will do a background check to make sure. If your buying it registered to your person then you will have to have you Sheriff sign of saying its ok for you to have that in his county , some of them are dicks about it and will not give the OK for a class three toy , so then you can either register the thing to a tryst or a LLC , this will bypass the the Cheir LE sign off.

If you can buy a handgun you won't have a problem, shy of getting the CLEO signature. In that event you can go the corporate/trust route.
