Good choice. I didn't need it but I passed it along to a couple people.
I was going to upgrade it first then my range finder but just ended up buying a sig kilo3000 for a good deal so I'll need to save up some more to upgrade the tripod later.
These are really great tripods for the money and really I just want something different, probably wouldn't gain much performance actually.
