Never heard of it...but I wonder what happens when the inner lining and the outer alloy heat up and expand at different rates?

Could be devastating if they didn't.

I spoke to Woody about these a few years back. He indicated that they had dealt with the issue of different expansion rates. The outer lining is aluminum, which as you know conducts heat quite a bit faster than steel. He also indicated that if I was looking for the last ounce of accuracy from a barrel, that this wasn't the way to go. As I recall, cost was the reason we didn't go with them. This was over 2 years ago though.
