Gunsmithing Installing Uncle Mikes Flush Mount cups ?

Uncle Mikes makes Flush Mount cups for sling swivels. How sgould these be installed on a McMillan Stock ? Does one need to bore a bolt through the stock or what ?

By a sudden stroke of luck I actually got the McMillan threded blackened stainless steel versions for which the McMillan installation guide is right on.

I have realized lately that I am soo deep into this LR shooting that many times there is only one (1 !) company in the world manufacturing off-the shelf what I need/want. Many times there are none and almost never there are several choices.

+6 billion people and only one company selling good 5$ per piece flush mount cups ? Incredible.
