Ive done an exhaustive area study of fifty standard daisy golden BBs and the red star target on the air powered Thompson SMG shooting gallery at your typical American carnival.
The surface area of the star exceeds the surface area of the fifty BBs laid perfectly together in the shape of the star.
Its a scam.
Next time pay your dollar fifty and unload the fifty BBs on the booth operator.

I know, it's just a silly BB gun but you guys would be surprised how fun these modern semi auto co2's can be. I was in your shoes till Christmas 2015 when my group of shooting friends bought some for entertainment at our party.
Man on man, you and your friends, shooting at identical target displays, is infinitely more fun than reloading ammo, smile. We laughed and laughed all year when we'd get out the bb guns. For those that don't take themselves too seriously and have a lightness of heart these provide tons of fun.

Instructor Zero got some serious skills . Seen him on youtube with an Ar now with a BB gun . Wonder how he is at horse shoes ? On a side note my best friend since first grade , my best man , his best man shot bb guns a lot . Even when there were family bbqs the bb guns would come out and all the guys would be off in a corner of the yard knockin down soda cans .
