Interesting Match Garand VS As Issued Garand

Going over the results of the CMP GSM Western Games, I find it funny that the scores of the As Issued Garands were somewhat higher then the match our unlimited Garands.

Hmmmmmm

Springfield winners beat the Garands.

Just curious but is everything the same besides the rifles and shooters of course.

Yes, same course of fire, same rules (except for the rules regarding the rifles)

Interesting, I recently acquired an Korean era garand that was rebuilt by the Marine corp and it shoots really good so far.

I find that a lot of accomplished (master or high master) high power rifle competitors participate in Issued class due to the added challenge.
