Gunsmithing Interesting Rem Problem

Just picked up a Rem with a rather nice crisp light stock trigger (unknown work done to it). Firing pin cocks when rifle held horizontal while working bolt. Firing pin cocks when holding rifle with muzzle up. But... with the muzzle pointed at the ground, firing pin does not cock.

I'm guessing a couple turns on the lower front screw and the problem will be solved.

Anybody familiar with this one?

I think your FN's put the voodoo on it.Try increasing the sear engagement and make sure the overtravel is not to fine.

All fixed--needed a little more weight
